Our Incredible High Holiday Leader, David Malamud!

David Magazine Malamud is entering his fourth year of rabbinical school at Hebrew College. Originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland (DMV represent!), David moved to the Boston area to pursue a PhD at Boston University. During graduate school, he fell in love with creating Jewish community and leading in religious spaces, so he enrolled at Hebrew College for even more time. In his time in rabbinical school, David has led high holiday services at Harvard Hillel and Boston College Hillel, as well as weekday and Shabbat services throughout the greater Boston era. In his spare time, David enjoys tending to his backyard garden, cooking complicated and sometimes disastrous dinners, and terrorizing the local turkeys of Cambridge with his trusty companions Lilah (dog), Ari (son), Ben (son), and Rebecca (wife).
