We encourage strong friendships and a sense of community by providing celebrations, programs and leadership opportunities so students can explore their identities—especially their Jewish identities—and we pride ourselves on meeting them exactly where (and as) they are.
Programs at Hillel are created by and for students, with the support and mentorship of our professional staff. Our calendar is packed with joyous and meaningful Shabbat and other holiday celebrations, rich Jewish learning experiences, diverse Israel programs, immersive social justice experiences and activism, film screenings, game nights, softball, cooking classes, gardening, micro-community affinity groups, FREE trips to Israel, and much more. In other words, we have cultural, religious, recreational, and spiritual touchpoints, and we welcome students whether they drop-in once or become regulars. No prior knowledge or experience necessary. No pressure. Worried about how your student or family might fit in? Our team welcomes your feedback, and anyway we’d just love to meet you…drop us a line anytime.
UA Hillel has no membership fees and most programs have zero participation cost to students, so your gift is truly vital. Consider what you might give, and then consider stretching just a little further to enable our holy work. We ask parents to make reoccurring, monthly contributions at an amount that works for them.
