In 1992, Michelle came to the University of Arizona Hillel Foundation after working for six years at the University of Michigan Hillel. She earned a B.A. in Sociology and Women’s Studies and an MA in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She loves working with students, lay leaders and the community of Hillel, so much that she's been doing this for over 30 years! She is here in Tucson with her two children, Avi and Eitan. Her door is usually open and she loves when students stop by to talk.
Charae graduated from Chaparral Business School and has been a part of UA Hillel for fourteen years. She REALLY loves the Dallas Cowboys, watching SVU, reading and crafting. Her husband, Steve, retired from the military after serving 37 years and now works for Lockheed Martin working on F-16’s. Charae and Steve became grandparents for the first time this year to their grandson, Blye. Charae’s position enables her to be a surrogate mom at Hillel and she loves shooting the breeze. Stop in and say "Hi!”

Izzy is in her second year at The University of Arizona Hillel as a Springboard Innovation Fellow. After graduating from Emory University in Atlanta in May 2017, she traded in humid hot for “dry heat” and moved to Tucson. She loves getting to know new students, talking about pop culture, helping out with advice, and planning awesome programs! Her office is open and if you are ever wondering “Where Iz Izzy?” just check out the calendar on the website and find her on campus.
